Process Steps:

Step 1: Applicant submits Application to the President of BKMEA for renewal of membership

Step 2: Provides all the required documents for renewal

Step 3: Submission to BKMEA office with letters

Step 4: BKMEA reviews the application

Step 5: If required any inspection of factory, file sends to the inspection section of BKMEA.

Step 6: After few days applicants collect the Renewal copy of certificate

Step 1: Applicant Collects the Application Form from BKMEA

Step 2: Fills-in the Application Form

Step 3: Deposits Application fees through cash deposit to Nominated Bank

Step 4: Submits the Application at membership section along with all the required documents and money receipt

Step 5: Section opens a file against the Application and grants a number and sends it to the Examination Section (Compliance, Engineer)

Step 6: If all requirements are fulfilled, file is sent to the Board of Directors (BoD) for approval.

■ Application on company letter head to President for membership.

■ Duly filled up prescribed membership form of BKMEA.

■ Registration of DOT (Directorate of Textile)/BIDA (Bangladesh Investment Development Authority).

■ Copy of up to date Trade License.

■ Copy of soil test report, building layout plan approved by concern authority, Architectural drawing/ structural design signed and completion certificate by IEB registered engineer.

■ Copy of L/C of Machinery/ Commercial Invoice, Bill of lading & Bill of entry. If purchase locally, provide deed of  Tk. 300.00 with relevant documents (Minimum requirement: 75 machines)

■ Copy of  Memorandum & Articles of association & Incorporation Certificate.

বাংলাদেশ একটি কৃষিপ্রধান দেশ। দেশের মানুষের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় প্রাণীজ আমিষ যেমন দুধ, মাংস প্রভৃতি উৎপাদনের লক্ষ্যে গ্রামীণ পর্যায়ে কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে দারিদ্র্য বিমোচনে গবাদি পশু প্রতিপালন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে। গবাদিপশুর সুস্বাস্থ্য, জাত উন্নয়ন এবং পশুজাত দ্রব্যাদির উৎপাদন বৃদ্ধির পূর্বশর্ত হলো সুষম খাদ্য ব্যবস্থাপনা। অথচ অদ্যাবধি আমাদের দেশে পশু খাদ্য উৎপাদনের জন্য স্বতন্ত্র কোনো ব্যবস্থা গৃহীত হয়নি। শুধুমাত্র মনুষ্য খাদ্য উপজাত সমূহই গবাদি পশুর খাদ্য উপকরণ হিসাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে থাকে। দেশের জনসংখ্যা যে হারে বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে তার ফলে চারণভূমি ক্রমশঃ হ্রাস পাচ্ছে। এ দেশে মাথা পিছু জমির পরিমাণ মাত্র ০.২৫ একর। তার উপর বাড়তি জনগণের জন্য বসতবাড়ী, অন্যান্য অবকাঠামো এবং কল-কারখানা স্থাপন করতে আবাদী জমি দ্রুত গতিতে হ্রাস পাচ্ছে। এহেন পরিস্থিতিতে গবাদিপশুর জন্য সবুজ ঘাস উৎপাদনে আবাদযোগ্য জমির ব্যবহার অত্যন্ত দুষ্কর হয়ে পড়েছে। এতদ্বসত্বেও ক্রমবর্ধমান জনগোষ্ঠির জন্য আমিষ খাদ্য উৎপাদন, কর্মসংস্থান ও আয়ের উৎস সৃষ্টির জন্য গবাদিপশু পালনের প্রয়োজনীয়তা অস্বীকার করার উপায় নেই।

কৃষি প্রধান দেশ হিসাবে বাংলাদেশের প্রায় ৮০ ভাগ মানুষ কম-বেশি কৃষির উপর নির্ভরশীল। যদিও বর্তমানে হাল চাষের কাজ কলের লাঙ্গল দিয়ে করা হয়। তবুও গ্রাম-বাংলার জনপদে কৃষির বেশির ভাগ কাজেই গবাদি পশু ব্যবহৃত হতে দেখা যায়। গ্রাম এলাকায় কৃষকেরা বিভিন্ন প্রয়োজনে গরু পালন করে থাকে। হয় হাল চাষের কাজে না হয় তো দুধের গরু হিসাবে এদের পালন করে থাকে। তবে দেশে গবাদিপশু পালন ক্রমান্বয়ে কমতে শুরু করেছে। আর গরুর সংখ্যা কমার প্রধান কারণ হলো গো-খাদ্যের অভাব। গো-খাদ্যের মধ্যে কাঁচা ঘাসের অভাব খুবই প্রকট। এই কাঁচা ঘাসের সরবরাহ ত্বরান্বিত করতে না পারলে আগামীতে গবাদি পশু পালন হুমকির সম্মুখীন হবে বলে মনে করা হয়।

এক তথ্যে দেখা যাচ্ছে যে, ২০০৪-০৫ অর্থবছরে বাংলাদেশের মানুষ মাথাপিছু দৈনিক ৩২.৫ মিলি দুধ খায় (উৎসঃ বাংলাদেশ অর্থনৈতিক সমীক্ষা, ২০০৬)। অথচ বিশ্ব স্বাস্থ্যসংস্থার হিসাব অনুযায়ী একজন মানুষের দৈনিক ২০০ মিলি দুধ খাওয়া প্রয়োজন। এই বিশ্লেষণ থেকে একথা স্পষ্টভাবে বলা যায় যে, বাংলাদেশের মানুষ দৈনিক মাথাপিছু গড়ে অতি নগন্য পরিমাণে দুধ পান করে থাকে। দেশে গুঁড়া দুধ ও দুগ্ধজাত পণ্য আমদানিতে বছরে প্রায় ৪০০-৫০০ কোটি টাকা ব্যয় করা হয়। বাংলাদেশের শিশুরা যে গুঁড়া দুধ খায় তা যে আসলে কি এ নিয়ে বিশেষজ্ঞ মহলে বিতর্ক রয়েছে। মায়ের দুধ ৪ মাস বয়স থেকে শিশুদের জন্য পর্যাপ্ত হয় না। তাই পুষ্টিবিদরা ৪ মাস বয়সের পর থেকে মায়ের দুধের পাশাপাশি শিশুদেরকে গরুর তরল বিশুদ্ধ দুধ খাওয়াতে বলে থাকেন। কিন্তু গরুর তরল দুধের অপ্রতুলতায় শিশুরা তা পায় না বললেই চলে। ফলে শিশুরা গুঁড়া দুধ বা অন্যান্য দুগ্ধজাত পণ্য খেতে বাধ্য হচ্ছে। এই গুঁড়া দুধ বা দুগ্ধজাত পণ্য খেয়ে আমাদের শিশুদের শারীরিক-মানসিক বিকাশ দারুণভাবে বিঘ্নিত হচ্ছে। আগামী প্রজন্ম পুষ্টিহীন ও দূর্বল হয়ে বেড়ে উঠছে।
